Skinny Homes.....

New York's skinniest home sells for a little over $2 million dollars....now that's no skinny price tag!  Here's a collection of skinny homes I thought you might like to see.  I don't know about you, but I may need something I can fit a King size bed into (at least).

I wonder if the inside of these homes are cramped...what do you think? Can you imagine living in either of these??

Dwell Magazine Modern Home Renovation.....

Dwell Magazine is one of my 'must-buy' magazines! I have a ton of them! Dwell's website is quite a treat as well & you can be sure to catch some amazing (good sized) interior shots there.

Don't you hate when sites don't have good sized photos?? What do I mean by good sized?? Well, photos that you
can actually see, where you don't have to squint every time you look at it.

Dwell h
as a section called 'HOMES' - which I am addicted to, seriously. This one home in particular caught my eye. It's a renovation put together in San Francisco. The house itself, was built in 1901 (5 years before the terrible 1906 earthquake). It was an old Victorian home measuring 1,040 square feet & after renovations it measured just over 2,170 square feet. Doubling in size, amazing! Here's the project in it's final state.

The 'not so good' housing market

Although the real estate market seems to suck pretty bad here in Las Vegas, it doesn't seem to ever slow down in New York City. After looking at these pictures, I'm wondering why I'm not still there. Ok, I'm dreaming right now.... I know. But its very depressing to sellers here in Las Vegas (like myself) to not know when our market will pick up again and we'll FINALLY be able to sell our homes for a justifiable price. I own two homes here in Las Vegas and I would love to sell the one I'm renting!! But as I've mentioned, the market is sooo depressed I may have to sit still. So I guess the only thing to do for now, is wait and dream.....

*All images come from one of the coolest real estate sites about NYC. Stribling.
How's your housing market?  Is it as bad as Las Vegas??

Not only is he Gorgeous but.....

I'm in the middle of watching the Larry King Special tonight where Brad Pitt is the guest. I wanted to express what I thought of his mission to get the Lower 9th Ward in New Orleans rebuilt. I think its quite admirable. Its a shame that a Hollywood actor is putting this all together with 5 Million dollars of his own money & our president couldn't go there until a week after the flooding. Larry asked Brad why the 'Pink'? he said they wanted something loud and PINK seemed to scream the loudest. So all the homes will be Earth Friendly, which is impressive! Good job. If you go to the site, you'll see how amazing it is to go through these homes in a 3d system and choose what you want to donate within the home. Whether it is a new refrigerator, new lighting, new linoleum floor etc. I will definitely be donating this Christmas to help these people gain their homes back. The site to visit is: NOLA
