Jesse's Home Tour...(Via Made By Girl)

So here we are on a Tuesday morning - the day after Valentine's day. Hope yours was a good one!
Today I'm sharing a home tour from another fellow Christian/blogger named Jesse. She has a really cute blog for called, 'Good Girl Gone Glad'. Catchy name...

Oddly enough, Jesse STENCILED her living room wall with a gorgeous pattern! It looks pretty good don't you think? At first glance you'd think it was WALLPAPER right???!

Speaking of STENCIL, don't forget to enter this giveaway for a chance to win a stencil. Perfect for renters who can't place wallpaper on their walls!!

Enjoy this home tour, and thanks Jesse for sharing it here on Made By Girl.

above: I see more stenciling!

Well, I've been a fan of hers for quite sometime...so I can't believe I'm just featuring her now.  I'm super excited to showcase her interior interior design work here on my blog, finally! As many of you know, she's been featured in countless home magazines so she's definitely one to watch for!

How CUTE is her inspiration board at her work desk??
Her desktop wallpaper looks similar to mine!

Becky's Basement Re-do....(Via Made by Girl)

Hello everyone! How did YOUR weekend go? I had an amazing weekend & it looks as if we now have plans to go away for Thanksgiving weekend, which will be fun! Can't wait....I DESPERATELY need a break. Then hopefully when I get back it's kitchen RE-DO time!!

This MONDAY I'm bringing you Photographer Becky Kimball's home which was featured here on my blog back in March.... & I loved so many aspects of it. It was simple, cozy and stylish. Becky slightly re-did her BASEMENT, making it more interesting by adding wallpaper & a few gorgeous accessories!

So, if you're looking to decorate YOUR BASEMENT, take some inspiration from Becky, she did a FAB job! You can also check out Becky's blog here.

What do you think??

A Modern Home in Paris....(Via Made By Girl)

How amazing is this modern pad in Paris?? I'm really loving the DARK hardwood floors combined with white interior walls (my absolute favorite look)....sorry, I'm JUST not into colored walls anymore! Wallpaper however... I will do!

Placing LARGE scale ART on white walls makes the white not seem so stark. The ARTWORK or PHOTOGRAPH seems to pop even more when placed on a white background...of course, that's my opinion.

Oh....to live in a place like this in Paris, what a dream!!

The design is by French designer Vincent Parreira (who I'm looking forward to seeing more of) and it's an eighteenth century home converted into a modern masterpiece.

A 10 Year Old's Room by Giannetti Designs...(Via Made by Girl)

Brooke Giannetti over at Velvet & Linen blog has agreed to share her daughter, Leila's room with all of us. She designed this lovely girl's room with her daughter's growing tastes.

She NO LONGER craves PINK, but more "mature" colors. (A true sign that your little girl is not growing up).  Brooke's daughter is now 10 years old and for Leila's B-day, mom told her she could re-decorate her room!

WOW....I remember being 10 years old....I was STILL sharing a room with my little sister!! Leila is a lucky girl!

The design starts with a trip to Anthropologie where Leila chose a beautiful and colorful flowery rug!  I love the vintage feel of the room as well as the architectural details on the ceiling.

Below: beginning the process

And...how about all that FRAMED artwork hanging on her wall??! How cool is that? I've always thought creative-type spaces (like this one) really open up a KIDS creative energy!

Great job Brooke!
