Hello everyone! How was your weekend? Did ANY of you watch the game!?!??

I didn't....I CAN'T stand football, SUPERBOWL or anything similar, instead I spent my time painting. More news soon on what I was painting!

New Items For Sale at Jennifer's Closet...(Via Made By Girl)

Some of you may remember when I first introduced "Jennifer's Closet" back in Sept. 2009.

Well, for those who don't know...it's a section in my web shop where I post items there were originally owned by me FOR SALE. Most of the time I end up selling things because I have too much stuff or it just DOESN'T fit my current decor.

Classic Chesterfields....(on sale)

Chesterfield sofas have always been a personal FAVORITE of mine. Do any of you own one? It would be great to have an older one that is slightly worn in...I'm not crazy about new leather to begin with so worn in would work better I think. Distinctive Chesterfields is having a SALE for 25% off all of their handmade furniture. Even though the SALE ends at the end of this month, it's good for all items like chesterfield sofas, suites and more!  Delivery seems to be worldwide and if you have a specific color you'd like, everything can be created bespoke to order...nice!

My cute wall clock for SALE.... (SOLD)

I am making room in my home for new art & will be selling quite a few pieces, including some of these here. I may even sell some of the art already framed.

Below is a frames clock from my home. I purchased it from an overseas company, Dutch By Design. I am selling it for $60 US +$5 shipping & will leave the batteries & all the fabric pieces inside frames as well! Measures about 37" x 37".

Carrie's Beautiful Michigan Loft - on the market...

Carrie over at Pattern of Life blog was sweet enough to share photos of her loft-style home with us. Coincidentally, her home is also on the market as we speak! Both Carrie & her husband reside in the West Michigan area in a neighborhood with a pretty large Dutch settlement as well as some of the best industrial design companies. This well-maintained loft is also 2 1/2 hours from Chi-Town, for those of you wondering.....

A little info about their place: built in 1903 in an existing alley way. Large- all white, built in book shelf, modern appliances, sky light in kitchen, hardwood floors, exposed brick walls throughout. One of the brick walls has some black paint, it was an old advertisement that they discovered when they knocked the mortar off the walls while gutting the place. The sign continues downstairs into the commercial space. (You can see this in some of the photos) Very original.
