Morgan's Home Tour...(Via Made By Girl)

Morgan Laske was one of the lovelies that submitted her home to share with all of you! The one thing that stood out to me was super cute bar area! I love that bamboo sideboard!  It's a piece I wish I could add to my home, but I just don't think it fits in within the whole scheme of things! Darn.

It looks SUPER CHIC though.....plus, I've even seen them up for grabs on Ebay several times. Granted some were in different colors, but so what....you can always paint it white! I also spotted the little Ikat bowls from Anthropologie, isn't it pretty? I love them, I have 2 of them! One in pink & another in brown....I tend to place jewelry in mine. Feel free to check out Morgan's blog here...tell her you saw her place on Made By Girl!

Catherine's Chic Geek Home Tour..(Via Made By Girl)

Doesn't it feel great to know FRIDAY is almost here?!?  After painting this whole week, I'm definitely looking forward to spending some down time with my guy & visiting a couple friends.

BUT in the meanwhile, it IS just Thursday...& I have a super cute home tour for you!

It comes from Catherine, a fellow blogger whose blog name is Chic Geek, cute huh?

Catherine has a small place with lots of style. While looking through her pictures I noticed we both had a few items in common. I have the lovely HORN TRAY (from Home Goods) & the turquoise FOO DOGS! Cute! Hope you enjoy her home & are inspired by it!

below: Oh yes, I like the brass nail heads on her inspiration board...

Her patio area outside.... I love the black and white cushions don't you?

Erin's High-Rise Home Tour...(Via Made By Girl)

Today I'm bringing you high rise living. For the LONGEST time....my guy & I wanted to move into a high rise apartment (prior to the place we live in now), but the lack of space killed the deal for us! However, when I look at places like this one below, I start to wonder! Erin, who authors the blog, Design in It sent over these AMAZING (love that word) pics of her pad in the sky.

My first thought when I saw her pictures was, wow...it's soooo modern & bright! How about her kitchen island? It goes on forever!!

Erin's place is conveniently located in San Diego, CA, so she has plenty to smile about....that's definitely a gorgeous city. If you're in her area & looking for DESIGN consultation, Erin does that too. You can find out more about Erin and her work here. Enjoy!

Thanks Erin!

Shoot Factory, it's Been A While...(Via Made By Girl)

I haven't been on Shoot Factory in quite sometime, but I DO subscribe to their email list to get all the good stuff in my email!

For those of you NOT FAMILIAR with Shoot Factory, it's an agency based out of the UK that provides DREAM locations for photo shoots, film productions and more!

The houses they come across are so FANTASTIC & definitely worthy of being featured in any interior design magazine. I'm NOT kidding, just take a look at these photos below.

I gathered a few that I thought would serve as inspiration for my GUEST bedroom, which I'm STILL working on...& I'm still CLUELESS about!  Nevertheless, Shoot Factory is still a great site to visit for anyone looking for great spaces (all over the world) to shoot in! Photographers take notes!

More Inspiration...(Via Made By Girl)

I really believe that large & colorful art really makes a BIG difference in a space. For my GUEST BEDROOM I'll probably be painting something to give it a personal touch. I found inspiration in several places today...

Inspiration For My Guest Bedroom... (Via Made By Girl)

I'm having family over at the end of February & I really need to get the main guest bedroom (I have two) ready!!

Ready meaning, it needs to look appealing. I CAN'T STAND having guests over & having them sleep in a DUMPY ROOM...I want them to feel as comfortable as possible and make the space as aesthetically pleasing as I can.

I'm going for a somewhat GLAM look, something pretty but STILL unisex. I've been scavenging the internet for inspiration, and I love Spanish sites like Nuevo Estilo, they have a ton of large photos for readers to look through! I selected these to get me started.....

So, are you re-doing a room in your home? Where do you find inspiration??  I'd love to hear from you!

Black Accents at Home...(Via Made By Girl)

I'm HEAD OVER HEELS in love with black accents in a home!! For me, I prefer adding black with lamp shades, artwork, maybe even pillows. The reason for all this is because I'm NOW working on the main guest bedroom so I need MAJOR inspiration!  I came across these pictures below, and I HAVE TO ADMIT...they're giving me the desire to forge ahead and add a few black items to the guest bedroom.

The question is what do I add in BLACK?!?!?!?!?  My main guest room is painted ALL WHITE so I'm definitely starting with a blank canvas. Well... whatever I decide I've got plenty of inspiration below!
